Spring's Done Sprung ... My Grass is Green

Rolled out of bed at exactly 530am to begin my Thursday well rested for getting to sleep the night prior earlier than I have in quite some time. After peeing and brushing my teeth, I was down the stairs with my feet tucked warmly under the front edge of the sofa grinding out my daily sit-ups. My push-ups were next, along with a set of curls to warm the ol’ arm muscles. Soon, Ykraps and I were out the door taking our morning walk together. This year will mark his ninth b-day which is in August. The world must seem very small to Ykraps. Scioto Woods, Apple Veterinarian, and inside my house are pretty much the extent of his wanderings. The poor fella hasn’t even experienced the pleasure of a bitch's (female dog) company. A shower later I was ready to hit the road on what promised to be another spring- like January day. Once at work the pace was feverish. We were busy. In fact, we were so busy that my day literally flew by. It was lunch time before I could bat an eye. It was 52 degrees under blue skies when I ran – simply lovely! Breezy, but still lovely! My afternoon was frantic too. But once gain, that’s how I prefer work to be. I was immersed in work issues right up until about 525pm. Finally, a braking point came and I hit the door on what would be a rare Mindy Thursday. We were planning to meet at my home tonight like we do on most Wednesdays. I made it home right before 6pm and immediately began my evening chores. I managed to walk Ykraps and begin cleaning my lunch containers about the time Mindy arrived. She entered quietly enough that I didn’t hear her. Here eventual presence in the kitchen scared the begesies out of me! So much so that I almost dropped the coffee pot. We quickly decided to make tacos, a treat I used to make at lest once every other week but haven’t for several months. Tacos are yet another dish that I have perfected over the years. They’re simply unbeatable! After our Mexican binge we decided some snuggle time was in order since we hadn’t had any since Sunday night. Ultimately, we fell asleep. Mindy woke and left sometime just before 10pm. I spent the next half hour or so playing guitar then reading a little. It out me in such a relaxing state that I transitioned peacefully to my sleepy state. YES!
