Monday: Memorial Day
Last year my shed was broken into and my John Deere tractor and new Toro mower were stolen sometime during the very early hours of Memorial Day . This year everything seemed to break. My golf game, my boat, my car, and my house. Shit, what's up?
up at 6:05am that's right - 6:05am
Exercise, walk ykraps, email, run .... all before 7:30am
Left for golf at 7:55am
pick-up Bob at Barley's & drive to Foxfire 8:50am tee-time
Bob's work buddy Bob and his brother Randall (lives in Scioto Woods too)
hot, sunny, blue skies 91 degree high temp
average to poor golf ... and same as always... fell apart after about hole 13 or 14 didn't much care
Stopped at Peter's farm market b4 heading home. homemade butter, pies, produce - didn't buy a thing though.
stop at dad's check boat, starts, runs kinda rough though - leave notice cracked windshield (3rd frikin' time) dammit

She spent the day at the hilltop pool
chatted, played guitar, planted flowers and veggies together.
had to replant the flowers Mindy sunk - not deep enough, needed to trowel deeper into the soil or else they'll die left rooting in the mulch.
Took boat back to storage facility - Mindy assisted - very difficult - not stacked as designed
home - cook steaks and asparagus on grill -very good along with garden salads that Mindy made earlier in the day.
Call Boss ask for last minute vacation day tomorrow - Tuesday - weather's going to be perfect for boating (90 and sunny). He obliges. I call Dad and ask if he cares to join me for breakfast and boating. He accepts. Agree to pick him up at 8am.
Mindy preps to leave - back door breaks - door latch stuck in locked position thus not allowing door to close - bummer

disassemble door knob - find prob - it's broken
Call Home Depot - open till 10pm it's 9:08pm
Left for HD West Broad St - talk with Mindy share my frustrating day - bad golf, broken windshield, homeowners policy up $450 per year, door breaks, boat runs rough.... she helps me find perspective.
Find new lock set- entry and dead bolt -
Home install new locks - will need to determine if I should have all rekeyed alike late
