Summer - Day One

Saturday: Summer Up energetic at 8am sharp! The smell_ it smells of summer; flowers, humidity, warmth, all of it! I am pumped up! exercise - walk Ykraps beautiful morning!!!!!!!! call Mindy talk about last night tentative plans for later morning flower bed work run at 9am home, shower, woof down lemon poppy seed muffin ready for Mindy's, grab flowers, yard tools, socket set, boots, Get Dad's trailer (not home) Get one yard fine Absolute Black mulch Start flower beds at Mindy's by 1115am All of us, Jacob, Bella, Mindy, Me Jacob & Bella move to slip n' slide, pool, and sprinkler! dig, edge, rake, and scrape preparartion is the key to an attractive, sustained flower bed tarp in yard to place 'dead mulch' edgings, and such hot - sunny - very summery! 2pm out of mulch- jacob and i go to retrieve another yard Bella Mindy Kroger Stop Speedway for treats: slurpee, candy for kids Back at Mindy's 3pm more mulching Finsihed al lflower beds by 430pm (main, side, 4 trees) load all dead mulch and edgings into trailer and filled it to the brim I leave 530pm - loose plans for later Dad's to unload he's there happy to receive edgings and dead mulch. I offer ot unload he says not - just leave covered till later talk aout his boat, mine, cordless drills, etc. Sheila, Margie come home from long work day (hugs abound) Archie tries to bite me on the sly when dad's not looking - frikin dog! Home - shower walk ykraps - ready for mindy's - few chores spary down shower with Clorox cleaner with bleach - awesome stuff to Mindy's in BM'er but Wal-mart first- hanging basket, boat ropes, trailer grease, aquarium tubing Minelli's Hilliard- surprise pizza for Mindy - 20 minute wait - next door bar for beer. out door patio - 3 corn hole boards. pure honky tonk! too mIndy's pizza ready sooner Sit on Mindy's front porch eating pizza and having beer and wine. Absolutely beautiful evening!!!!! fireworks in the distance Home in BM'er awesome drive!
