Dashin' Out the Door

Up at 542am Exercise, coffee, PC, Frankie Run 4 miles – wear sleeveless running shirt – much cooler morning Pack lunch – make breakfast: fried eggs, english muffin, fruit Shower, leave for work at 815am. Mindy shares her plans to grocery shop. Work. Receive email from the Bob’s about this week’s golf. Bob B. out. Bob I. suggests, since it’s just he & I, a drive to Indian Springs on Thursday. Sounds good to me. I agree. Work very busy end up working until 615pm. Mindy disappointed because she’s prepared a special dinner. Doesn’t share what it is. Arrive home near 630pm. Grilled steak – filet mignon, salad & corn on the cob After dinner Mindy and I plan to take Frankie on a walk. She dashes out unleashed and keeps running just out of our reach. I was scared for her safety and angry at the same time. Once we finally caught her neither Mindy or I was in the mood to continue a walk with the dog. We took her back home and placed her in her pen. Mindy and I took a brief walk without the dog. It was still fairly warm and I was full from dinner. I didn’t want to walk too far. Back at home, I snuggled up in the family room chair to read. I remained there for the duration of the evening.
