Agent 107202

I was up and downstairs by 542am. After starting coffee I slipped into my running shoes in preparation for my exercise routine. I was still really tired even after what I’d call a good night of sleep. Not sure why. I took Frankie (A.K.A. agent 107202) out after enjoying some coffee but she didn’t go. She’s been doing that a lot lately – lollygagging. I ended up taking her out three times (twice before my run and once after). Frankie-time is starting to consume a bigger piece of my morning schedule than I am willing to sacrifice. She needs to take care of business and move on. After meditation and stretching I headed out for a run. I was disappointed that it was almost 7am even after getting up near on time. I ran four miles in relatively cool temps – about 62 degrees. I would’ve been more comfortable with a sleeveless wicking shirt. Back home, not only did I start my breakfast, but I cut up veggies for my lunch too. Mindy forewarned that she didn’t have time to prepare my veggies like normal. I didn’t really mind, although might’ve felt a tad unloved.  I made a cheese and bacon omelet. It was extra good. I was off to the shower before just before 8am. Frankie was full of energy and immediately started gnawing on Mindy. Mindy flipped her backwards to ward off the loving attack. That’s not the normal Mindy. Geesh! I didn’t say anything. Mindy remained in bed after my shower. I needed to leave right away in an effort to arrive at work somewhere close to 830am. I arrived around 840am. My peer and I chatted for the first hour or two helping the morning to move by at a pretty good clip. I took a rare lunch and drove to Home Depot to pick-up a couple things. First, I need to do something about the boat tarp that always comes loose due to too much space between the snaps on the windshield. My plan is to install an additional snap or use Velcro. I planned to look at the Velcro options first, since adding a snap will require drilling into the metal window frame. But finding Velcro that sticks to the canvas- like material of the tarp was the big unknown. I looked at all their options, and each one warned that it wasn’t intended for use on porous material. Installing an additional snap would require less hardware – just a screw. I have new snaps already. Again, though, I am just worried about drilling into the window frame and the possibility of nicking the glass and thus breaking it. I also looked at pitch forks. I want one for turning compost and moving mulch. I didn’t like the only model they had. Maybe Lowe’s on another day. I headed back to the office after burning nearly an hour already. I retuned to my office where I ate my packed lunch while continuing with my work. I was really busy considering I wanted to meet with all of my direct reports throughout the day. I stayed busy until almost 6pm. I arrived home late. Mindy made tacos for dinner. They were terrific. I ate three. Not only was I stuffed, but I was sleepy too. After clean-up, Mindy and I took Frankie on a walk. Bella joined on her bike. When we got back we took the training wheels off her bike figuring it time to learn to ride a two-wheeler. After all, her legs easily touched the ground, so we figured she could coast and use her legs as training wheels. It didn’t come as easy as we expected it might. We even had her gear up with her helmet, knee and elbow pads. After about 20 minutes she gave up in a huff and stormed inside to pout, almost exactly like Jacob a couple years removed. I spent the rest of the evening reading and eventually falling asleep in the chair and then later on the floor. I remember waking around 940pm and hurrying off to bed. Mindy said she’d be up in a little while.
