A new week and a new set of problems to solve

Could this be a Lemon??? Happy 44th Charles Michael Wright I woke today with an agenda already firmly implanted in my mind. However, despite the agenda I slept pretty well. Once again, I was careful to try and proceed with my morning routine with as little disruption to Mindy’s sleep as possible. Downstairs I verified that my coffee maker had indeed kicked on and then choked down a vitamin. Soon the toes were tucked under the sofa and I was grunting out my 55 sit-ups. Soon I had all of my exercises done and I was out walking Ykraps under the early summer sky. Today, I could tell, was shaping up to be a classic central Ohio summer day (hot& steamy). I enjoyed my first cup of coffee and some quiet time on the deck since the weather was so pleasing. Too, I was well in tune with my morning schedule and had no reason to be rushing around. I relaxed to some soothing sunshine and charming wildlife deck side. Later I would eat my breakfast out there as well. I tinkered with the idea of driving the BM’er but ultimately decided against such a move in part because the weather forecasters were predicting late afternoon thunderstorms. That didn’t bother me in the least since we hadn’t any rain since last Tuesday. After getting completely ready for work, I spent the final ten minutes of my morning playing guitar on my deck. Mindy and the kids joined me. Mindy asked to be woken up at 7:30am so that she could ready to take Lindsey to her interview. I left for the office around 7:40am. This was a Monday and I was expecting a busy one. I was happy to be off of on-call and back to a regular week. The day was busy and so I couldn’t get to any of the personal issues I had to deal with until later in the day. I didn’t leave for my daily run until 1pm. The sun was hot and the humidity when I hit the trail. It was already 86 with about 50% humidity. It was my warmest run in quite a few days. The after noon back in the office went fairly smoothly, at least for a Monday. I was just happy that it was summer time – my favorite time of the year. During the afternoon I found time to call Aarrow Radiator to tow Lindsey’s Honda in and check it out. I also learned that Lindsey’s interview was a success and she will be starting her new job come July 24th. She’s excited!, and so am I. I left the office just after 5pm destined for home. I stopped at Lowes to look at deck stain along the way home. I bought nothing. I pulled in Tire Discounters in hopes of getting my tires rotated but they were too backed up. Homeward. When I arrived home, Mindy was already there. She had worked hard all afternoon on clearing out most of the toys from Ashley/Kaileigh’s room making it more spacious. I took Ykraps on his walk and addressed the remainder of my chores. I had given thought to painting outdoors but simply couldn’t muster the motivation. Instead, Mindy and I made pork low-carb burritos for dinner and sat on the deck. Jim, Mindy’s ex, brought the kids back around 8:30pm. After getting them into bed Mindy went upstairs to do some reading while I did some blogging. I finished blogging around 9:30 and wanted to do some reading myself. When I went up to bed, Mindy was already asleep so I went back downstairs to do some reading from my reading chair. I read until 10pm when my eyes got heavy. I closed my book, secured the home, and went to bed.
