Where's My Stuff?

Monday was a typical return to work kinda day. I was up and about by 5:30am and going about my usual routine. That really doesn’t differ much –ever! I worked hard all day following-up on issues leftover from late last week, and the same ones that kept me tied to work through the weekend. I had little time for any ‘Jimmy’ stuff. That’s always depressing! I was looking forward to my run because the temperature was very spring like, but despite what the weather prognosticators predicted, it poured rain again this afternoon during my usual run time. Now I’m not one to hide from the rain clouds as proof being my nine plus year streak, but if I can avoid it I will. The radar promised to clear sometime around 2pm so that is the plan I went with. It worked flawlessly. Because of such a late run, the afternoon went pretty fast, although I didn‘t get out of the building until 5:30pm for dealing with those same leftover issues. Once I did finally leave, I headed directly to Tuttle mall to buy new running shoes, which I sorely needed. I won’t bore you with the new shoe shopping spree details but will just say this … I paid $50 for my new pair of Nike’s. I’ve learned that buying last season’s models saves me lots of cash with no negative impact to my comfort. Oh, and I did buy white, which I do every spring. I didn’t make long of my shopping expedition and was home buy 6:05pm. Mindy was already there which I assumed her to be. She knew that I would be later than usual too. She was being the princess she usually is and had many of my chores already done including starting our dinner. I walked Ykraps then began cooking our wings which have become yet another routine for us. Have I mentioned that I like routines? Not only do I love routines but I absolutely love chicken wings. And one of the great things about them is that they’re lo-no carb! They’re really just the perfect ‘Jimmy’ food. After dinner we had a fire and exchanged back-rubs. Mindy’s become quite adept at managing the spasms and knots in my upper back/shoulder blade area. She knows just how to ease the pain that often accompanies the swelling. Mindy left around 9pm. I did some reading and blog updates. I fell asleep before 10pm.
