Is it a Star or a Planet?

Up EXACTLY at 5:30am this fine Tuesday morning. My body clock hasn't failed me in sometime and as long as I continue to do my part to keep my mind rested and exercised, I don't suspect it will anytime soon either. I just wouldn't stand for it! The morning was shaping up nicely. The predawn sky was just shy of crystal clear and the stars still shined brilliantly. That special star in the southeastern sky is still casting enough light to practically qualify as a second sun! Of course that's an exaggeration, but you get my point. I'd guess it for a planet but I'm not for certain. For the second day in a row I dressed nicely for work - something I haven't done so much the past six months or so. It used to be that I went out of my way to dress impeccably each and every day, but no more. I guess it just isn't that important.to me any longer. Otherwise I'd still be doing it. I do what I choose! Before leaving the house I took a few minutes not only to play the guitar but to practice the scales I've been working on for almost 30 days (F # minor & the A major). I've got to have those down pat come Thursday. Work was uneventful - busy but nothing special to write home about. My run, on the other hand, was. It was nothing short of gorgeous out there today. I took it all in. I made the most of this gloriously sunny end-of-winter day. The high temperature probably didn't even reach 45 but nonetheless, it was still very nice! Mindy and I already knew that we wouldn't be hooking up tonight after work. Instead, both of us would retreat to our homes where we would lay low catching up on various odds and ends. One of mine was to stop at the grocery on the way home to get a few things I should've gotten over the weekend but overlooked them. I stopped at Wal-Mart in Hilliard and got those items and then some (bad habit - the then some part). At home I did some bills, and a few other incidental tasks. Before retiring to my reading chair, I forced myself to once gain practice my guitar scales, and practice I did for about half an hour. But by 7pm I was in my reading chair enjoying some relaxing reading and napping. There I stayed until about 9pm. I got some solid reading in. Before going to bed I called Mindy who by the sound of her voice had already been dozing. I wished her a good night's rest then proceeded to read just a little more before dozing off for good myself.
