Visiting the BMV Every Fourth Spin around the Sun

Slept in until almost 6am. My plan was to head in and work from my Hilliard office for the first time since the Thursday before. But happily, I didn't have a meeting scheduled until 10am and I planned on joining that via conference call.
I quickly pushed through calisthenics and shortened my internet time in order to recapture some of that time.
Bottom line, headed out on my run around 650am.
Ran 4.1 miles. Partly cloudy 66 degrees. Nice.
Mindy gone by the time I got back home.
Eggs ready and in the microwave.
Walked the pug.
Already 745am, decided I better not try and shower before bus stop time.
Prepped lunch while Bella readied.
Headed to the bus stop at 802am still in my running clothes.
Chrissy asked if I was working from home. Nope.
Bus arrived near 812am. Bella shared that the bell rings as soon as they show up at school each day.
Headed home and to the shower.
Ready to go by 845am.
Rather than waiting until lunch, decided to stop at the Hilliard BMV and renew my driver's license on my way in.
Arrived there shortly after 9am. About 5 people in front of me in line. Anyone who's been to the BMV knows that that can be a really long wait. No sense of urgency.
A little surprised to read that it's $25.75 for license renewal these days. Only accept cash or check too. Felt like we were back in the 80s.
Finally, after waiting patiently for about 20 minutes, one of the bearded ladies shouted "Next"!
After a quick eye exam , signing some docs, and forking over $25.75 in cash, I was on my way to work with my new driver's license which is good for another 4 years.
Spent the first hour or two of my day organizing my new temporary office. May recall, I moved all my crap in last Thursday but didn't have time to organize anything.
Sandwiched in amongst the office chaos, I joined a fairly brief 10am conference call.
Another very busy day where I did not take a formal lunch break.
Did take time to call Promo West - LC Pavilion asking about ticket window hours.
Could stop in Friday anytime after 530pm and before 9pm to buy concert tickets without using T.M. saving all sorts of money.
The plan was to meet Mindy at curriculum night at Bella's school at 6pm. To that end, I left the office near 545pm figuring that I wouldn't see my new office again until the following Thursday.
Mindy was already at the school and in the gym. Took about an hour for all the 5th grade teachers to review the year's curriculum.
Mindy said she had a rotisserie chicken in the oven at home awaiting our arrival. Good. I was starving.
Didn't get home until after 7pm.
Dinner was good. Clean-up fairly quick.
Watched preseason NFL football at 8pm. Headed for bed around 1030pm.
