The NFL

Foggy, steamy start to the day. Warm, too - 73 degrees. Expecting a high in the mid 80s.
Exercise, play, meditate stretch. Run 4.1 miles
Check BBerry. Realize 10am meeting moved up to 0am. Yikes. Decide to join meeting via conference bridge from home.
Mindy going to school retreat all day. Takes Bella to her mom's. Bella wasn't pleased.
Decided to work from home for the entire day. Didn't make any sense to shower, power down, drive in to do what i can just as conveniently and easily do from home.
Decided to cut the lawn at lunch.
Head out around 1pm. Work for a little more than an hour push mowing and tractor cutting.
Sunny, warm and sticky at the outset. Cloudy as I finish up. Chance of afternoon storms but nothing imminent.
Spent mid afternoon working on monthly reporting. At 4pm, I quickly head out to blow grass clippings from drive and walk.
Rain looks imminent. No sooner do I finish blowing off walk and drive when a big thunderstorm rumbles through with extra heavy rains.
The timing of the rain was ideal. The flowers and grass were just beginning to show signs of stress.
We ended up getting more than an inch of rainfall. Rained on and off for the rest of the evening.
Bella brought a small Minelli's pizza home from Gloria's and shared a couple slices with me.
Thursday night NFL preseason football - Bengals vs. Falcons.
Watched until almost 1045pm. Bengals kicked their butts.
