Sunny Day on Wateree

 

 

 

 

 Up near 715am
David & Anita were already up, and more often than not they rise near 6am. Not used to finding others already up.
Anita already completed her 3 mile walk.
After some chit-chat, off on my run.
Light fog, warm, humid
Ran 3.1 miles up &down rolling hills toward River Rd and back. Nice!
Couldn’t wait for coffee. Yum! Delivered a cup to Mindy.
David had breakfast cooking – scrambled eggs, bacon, etc,
David and I headed out to prep boat and jet skis for day on the lake.
Opted for a jet ski ride. Flew around the local lake going up to 55 mph – fast!
Cruised in &out of three or four coves.
Returned to prep coolers, ready for day on the lake. Sunny and warm!
On the lake by 1045am. David gave Jacob quick course/ride on jet skis
Jacob did well.
Played on the lake all day. Fun!
Collectively decided to do dinner at the Retreat despite having lots of goodies to grill at the lake house.
I was the last to shower. Via boat, left for dinner near 730pm (I think).
Lovely evening cruise to restaurant. Not quite sunset but nearing.
Started dinner with drinks and appetizers – Jack & Coke for me. David suggest spicy shrimp. Yum!
Everybody ordered dinner entrees (Mindy & I opted share the beef tips and grits). We all shared two 2lb orders of crab legs.
Dinner was delicious! Perfect!
David picked up the entire check.

Cruise back was in the total dark. Used navigation lights.
Back to the lake house near 10pm.
David and I planned to golf the following morning. Headed to be by 1030pm.
