Orienting One's Self
Up on time. 530am
Exercise, coffee, Frankie duty
PC, meditate, stretch, wake Mindy at 630am for first day of school (no students)
run 4 miles – supposed be ‘perfect’ day , but clouds prevail. (What?)
Mindy prepares breakfast – eggs
Mindy leaves at 730am for school
Kids spending the day with neighbors, Mike & Teri.
Frankie and I walk them down at 810am – off to work at 815am in the BM’er
Work busy – carry over from on-call weekend. Boss agrees to Thursday comp day. Wahoo!
Take a lunch break near 1pm and drove to Golf Galaxy to once again look at new rescue and fairway woods. Considered getting fitted/having my swing analyzed for the proper shaft, weighting, lie and make-up, but in the end opted not.
Ate lunch at my desk. Worked late or until 545m
Mindy had parent orientation and didn’t expect to be home until 830pm. Jimaken took Jacob & Bella to their open house – teacher meet & greet. I was told to expect them back around 7pm.
I used the alone time to address the following day’s work prep along with writing in my blog. The hour went fast. The kids returned around 715pm Both, but especially Bella, were very excited about school starting the next day. As soon as Jimaken left I helped get the kids ready for showers.
At 8pm I tuned into MNF – Arizona vs Tennesee. Mindy arrived home around 830pm just as we had planned. The kids got to stay up until 930pm. I eventually fell asleep on the sofa.
