Slow, Sleepy, and Lethargic…again

I failed to snap any pics yesterday. Perhaps it was the sleepiness. Here are some photos I took of a grocery run I made with/for daughter Courtney last November 8. I remember it well. BTW: the Sam Adams was for me. What is up with this? Despite going to bed early the night before, I still woke feeling completely exhausted. I didn’t have trouble pulling myself from bed, however. In fact, I was up at 515am. It’s just that once I was up and about I felt that extra sleepy feeling you get behind your eyes along with a warm and numb feeling body. Like the last few days, it was again a very warm morning. Certainly warmer than it could be this time a year and I’d bet it was well above the average too. Even though I didn’t alter my morning routine in any way, I felt like crawling back in bed and sleeping for another eight hours. In turn, Ykraps practically walked me this morning. Although, he failed to clean up after me like I do him. I didn’t even consider driving the BM’er today. However, with the weather being as it was, I could’ve. Once at work, I had a few momentary flashes of nausea but that left as quickly as it came. As you might imagine, running wasn't the easiest it’s ever been but it wasn’t horrible either. Running with an intense hangover has to be the worst. The secret is getting started, because once you’re moving and the cool air is brushing against your body you feel pretty good even when your down right sick! Today I was just TIRED!!!! I finished my run with no problem. Again, about a half an hour after my run I got really tired. You know, the kind of tired when everywhere you look looks like a good place to take a nap! Hopefully this departs as quickly as it hit me. I left work pretty much on queue – right at 505pm. I had nothing planned – a blank slate, a “tabla rasa”. That in itself was refreshing and invigorating. Once home I tended to my few simple tasks then found my way into my flannel pajamas and then my comfy reading chair. It’s been a while since I came home and did the read and veg thing! I didn’t forget how though. After reading only a few pages I drifted off to sleep, but only for about ten minutes. That was enough! Once awake and on my feet I made some dinner then hit my blog. I spent the next hour or so doing Sunday and Monday. The rest of my evening was spent doing absolutely NOTHING! How cool is that? I went to bed at 9pm. Before going to sleep, I gave Mindy a call. She was heading to bed early too. I was closing my eyes for what I hoped was a long night’s sleep at 915pm. I hope I feel better tomorrow!!
