Entry #101

Need I say more? cloudy sunrise - where's the sun? A few roses bloom in November I woke Thursday at 445am! Now that’s early. I woke feeling well rested and ready for just about anything. I was able to completed my morning exercises, walk Ykraps, have some coffee, and meditate all before 530am. The temp was noticeably cooler today and we were socked-in with clouds. I was determined not to let that bother me though. After all, we’ve been very fortunate to have had some very nice mid-fall weather. I must come clean. Despite going to bed early all week and getting up extra early each day, I haven’t quite ditched the sleepie creepies just yet. I still feel a little foggy and my intestines feel crampy and gassy. For the last two days it didn't set in until later in the day. At work I learned that a few of our staffers have called off this week with similar symptoms. Speaking of work, the day was tough and I barely had any free time to drift. Despite the busy day, I always get out for my run, probably because it is on my calendar and no one can schedule a meeting over top of my scheduled events. Even though it was cool, the run was good, and certainly less eventful than the one prior. Nobody tried to kidnap me, and or no cops pulled me over for an ID check. Back at my desk the day continued at a frantic pace. As the day wrapped up, it was evident that I wasn’t going to be leaving on time which is 5pm. Instead, I got out of the office at 530pm – again! I was just a little stressed because I had a standing guitar lesson that usually begins at 6pm, however Josh left me a VM indicating that he would be a little late – 630pm. I didn’t return the call, I just accepted it as a gift. I needed the extra time anyhow. Mindy and I had made tentative arrangements for me to dine at her home after guitar lessons. I wasn’t feeling up to it and really just wanted to collapse into my bed, truth be told. I called to let her know. Not much later, Josh called again to this time request a lesson reschedule for next week. He needed to work through a personal issue. That was fine because, again, I wasn’t feeling that great anyhow. I called Mindy back. It seems she was in the middle of a mini crisis too. Bella, her daughter, had managed to get herself stuck in the legs of a wooden stool!! Had she not freed her when she did, she was ready to call the fire department to come remove her. Now that would have been worth the price of admission! Let alone the photo-op!!!! I spent the evening chillin’ at home. It felt so, so good. I can’t even begin to describe how good. After some guitar, popcorn, and relaxation, I went to bed at 915pm!
