Passing Gentle Rain

bedside then quickly returned downstairs. I spent an abbreviated amount of time on the PC but still managed to read the Daily Om and meditate. I didn’t head out for my run until 6:40am. Without any thought, I ran four miles. And it rained lightly for the duration of the run. I was damp upon my return home. Mindy had my breakfast and lunch fully ready. This saved me oodles of time. I appreciate that immensely. I readied and left for work by 8:10am. The work day was business as usual. By day’s end the rain from yesterday and overnight had completely cleared out giving way to warm sunshine and clear skies that’s expected to carry us through the Labor Day weekend. I talked with Mindy sometime after school let out. We discussed dinner plans. Mindy was craving a Minelli’s pizza. We agreed that is what we’d have. I called her back before leaving work to confirm which one of us was gonna fetch it. I agreed to pick it up on my way home. I called Minelli’s as I exited the parking lot for home. The pizza was ready by the time I got there. Mindy was walking Ykraps as I pulled down the street. That saved me some time. I dug into the pizza immediately. It wasn’t long before Mindy and the kids were back with Ykraps. We all sat down at the table to share what remained of the pizza. J I was looking forward to the evening’s NFL preseason action. The Vikings were playing the Cowboys. Neither team was expected to play any of their key starters, so the outcome was truly inconsequential. Still! Unfortunately, that particular game wasn’t on TV, but both the Bengals and Browns games were. We watched a little of both. In between, I dashed to my PC to check out the Vikings score. The Vikings lost. Next game is for real – Monday, September 8th. We were in bed by 10:30pm.
