Meeting Cujo

A run to the east … again I run in with Cujo – a big white St Bernard type dog He ran with me the entire way and even came back home with me. The kids were delighted and took to feeding and watering the gigantic canine. Jacob reluctantly went with me to put gas in the boat using one of our two five-gallon containers. That pretty much returned the boat tank to full. Perfect! We were on the boat by noon. This time we filled individual water bottles with our rum punch concoction. We also filled a cough syrup bottle with J.D. for sipping. This time we explored the area immediately south of our private cove. Mindy & Rene both skied and later tubed. The sky was slightly overcast for most of the day, but the sun was always visible through the thin veil of clouds. It didn’t dampen our fun. We played basketball, floated, and boated all day long. We were back at the house by 5pm. I dreaded carrying the cooler up the steep hill each evening. It took my breath away each time. A repeat of Monday, we grilled filets since they were thawed. We had roast corn again, too. It was very good. After dinner we watched the Olympics. I also read several pages from The Lies About Money – Ric Edelman. We must’ve been in bed between 10-11pm again.
