VIKESROCK Bottling Company...

If I could, I'd bottle up this fantastic weather and save it for just the right occasion. I'd bottle enough to last for, oh, I don't know, maybe three months. I'd pull it out right after the Super Bowl. Let's see, I could use born on dating to commemorate the day that specific weather was created. And I'd definitely add a high alcohol content if for no other reason than to keep it interesting! The A/C is off, the windows are open, and a welcome cool breeze rushes through my home. And as a bonus I have the added effect of sukata's, crickets, tree frogs, or whatever it is that makes that incessant screeching sound playing rather loudly in my ears! Whatever they are, I enjoy the sound immensely. Shhhhh... Be really quiet, and don't say anything. My lawn thinks it's spring and I am not inclined to tell it any different. It is absolutely beautiful and growing like crazy. That hurricane rain was just what the lawn doctor ordered. I layed down some fertilizer mid June and we didn't really have much rain after that. I suspect that it is what's energizing my lawn right now. I just cut it Thursday and it could already be cut again. I won't cut it again, however, for another couple of days. Today my goals were simple, after watching the OSU game I planned to do a little Krogering/Walmarting to pick up some beer, food, etc for Dodie's get-together tomorrow. I planned to make and take some potato salad, brownies, and homemade salsa. I am such a good cook/chef. Just ask me - yep! I picked up some Sam Adams, Columbus Pale Ale, and another bottle of Raspberry Vodka! Geesh - by the sound of that you'd think I was a drunk. Of course that's notthe case, but I do like to have fun and cut loose every now and then. Who doesn't? Buckeye commentary... Sure, the Buckeyes won and won rather handedly (34-14). But does anyone else think that Justin Zwick looks a little tentative, and that our offensive line is still suspect? I suppose Zwick hasn't really had that much opportunity to gel as a major college quarterback so I'll cut him some slack, but the offensive line - please! Not complaining but instead exposing a weakness. Honestly, if there is one glaring set back growing out of the Jim Tressel era it is that we don't seem to be getting the same caliber of lineman that OSU has been known for ( Pancake, Korey Stringer). He did bring us a National Championship, so, again, I am not complaining but rather just making a point. Oh well, know this, if we can't get an extra strong running game going, we won't be able to beat the likes of Texas, Iowa, and Michigan. Write it down! BTW - I wonder if Michele Pfeiffer's busy tonight? I think she's the most beautiful woman in the world. If you happen to see her, will you tell her that I love her. Homemade Hot wings, guitar, Cold Play, stars...
