Rare BM'er Day

Up at 6am. Exercise. Fair skies and 58 at run time. Ran 4 miles

Because I wasn’t fully packed, I was feeling a little stressed for our SC trip coming up on Friday.

Working from the office. Mindy had a bunch of errands to run including yet another trip into school but more leisurely hours.

By the time I left the house the sky was completely clear with next to zero chance of rain. Opted to drive the BM’er. Nice drive!

Arrived at 9am. Chatted with my boss for a few. Joined a couple important calls. All good stuff!

A couple peers invited me to join them on the patio for lunch. Why not? It was a perfect day – 75 sunny.

They ate pizza while I ate veggies, nuts and cheese. We laughed about it. Talked old times. Good time.

Easy afternoon. Worked on my monthly report. Set my out of office and forwarded my desk phone to my mobile then recorded vacation out of office message. Left for home around 430pm.

Felt good to be on vacation albeit a short one – only 3 work days.

Mindy shared that dad would be joining us for dinner.

I planned to cut the lawn though temporarily forgot about it once at home. And even though I was on vacation, I logged onto my laptop so not to burden my back-up prior to Friday AM.
