Let it Snow!

Up at 745am. No one else up - Yes!!! No exercise Sunday Walked Ykraps Sunny 33 degrees Mom up at 9am Take Mindy coffee at 905am – wake for church Mindy opts out of church Leave for my run at 930am Run three miles down Trabue & Hague – excellent run Eat Jacob’s leftover breakfast burrito Take a nap on family room floor Mom leaves for home around 1pm – doesn’t want to attend Bobby’s Xmas event Mindy had everything ready to go by the time I finished a shower Created two white elephant gifts – 1 from us, the other from Glenn Picked up Lindsey, Rocky, & Landon - drive to brother Bob’s Arrive around 230pm. Tommy & Wally, Dad already there Adam, Christy their too – along with the rest of Bob’s family I felt a little sick and tired – been that way since Xmas day Ate April’s excellent cheese ball/dip – drank only water Finally took a seat on the comfy sofa – watched remainder of the Bengals game They won 17-10 – clinched division and playoff spot Next up Philly vs. Denver. Rooted for Denver – Philly loss couple with Monday night Viking win seals #2 seed (1st round bye) for Vikings Begins to snow lightly White elephant exchange around 6pm. Tommy white elephant’s mom’s snowman coffee cups/saucer – we ended up with it. Mindy threatens to tell  Dad white elephant’s last year’s gift – glass chess set Glenn gets chess set Afterwards, Dad trades with Glenn, giving him his winning lottery tickets ($33) Dad keeps chess set for next year? Snow beginning to pile up – everyone excited Philly wins exciting game in final seconds 30-27 We depart for home. Scraped Tommy & Dad’s windows. No one else has a scraper. Drop Lindsey and boys Brief snowball battle with Landon and Rocky in Kelly’s front yard Count plastic Santa’s along drive home – 18 Walk Ykraps as soon as we arrive Mindy whisks kids off to the shower I help get the house in order Still snowing 9pm tune into SNF game – Cowboys vs Redskins Determined to get good night’s sleep – head to bed at 1030pm
