I was up by 5:40am and well rested after a good 7 hours of sleep. I was anxious yet weary to learn the final score of the Buckeye basketball game. My gut told me that we lost. Either way, it was a great season for the basketball Buckeyes.
As always, I did my exercises and took Ykraps on his morning walk. On what was expected to be the last warm day for quite awhile. The moon was once again out in full force obstructed by nothing. It was so gorgeous that it was hard to imagine it being below freezing tomorrow morning, but that’s what is predicted. Upon my return from our walk, I poured a cup of coffee and headed to the PC to check the basketball score. Buckeyes lost by nine.
Mindy asked to be up by 7:30am, but that would happen regardless given my 7:15am shower time. I left for work around 7:45am and limped along to work once again in my poorly running Trooper. Wednesday can’t come soon enough
Work was incredibly busy. There was little if any talk of the Buckeyes losing. The temperature soared into the 70’s quickly. It was 74 degrees by the time I left for my run. Mindy and the kids were going to the zoo. They had superb weather for such a trip.
I left for my run around 1pm. It was plenty beautiful and warm. A slight haze began to seep into our other wise blue skies during my run. Again, it was hard to imagine the bottom falling out as predicted.
The afternoon was as grueling as the morning. I was actively involved in many issues. Still, I managed to eave for home around 5:10pm. Not long after arriving home Mindy left to attend the wake of a longtime church friend. She was back around 6:30pm.
When she returned I was ready for a nap. Jacob and I played a long game of basement basketball before hand. While she made dinner I slept on the couch. I woke just after 7pm to eat some tasty chicken breast and green beans.
The remainder of the evening was spent fooling around on the PC and then watching Idol and House. We went to be promptly at 10pm.
