Postive Post Cinnamon Results

I slept about as good as one could ever expect waking completely refreshed around 540am. A few minutes later I was downstairs, first checking that the coffee had brewed - it had - and then poking my head out the deck door to get a feel for the weather. It was no longer but had been most of the night. It was chilly, too, only 50 degrees. The 80's we were blessed with over the past few days was a thing of the past. Wasn't expected to get out of the 60s all day Monday while also remaining cloudy and with a chance of more rain.

I completed calisthenics which included 50 push-ups. They came easy. Poured some coffee at 555am then headed to my PC. It's coming up on a week without adding cinnamon to my coffee. I'm more convinced than ever that I have at least a mild allergy to the spice. as my inner ear, scalp, and eyelids haven't been itching at all. I realize, however, that could simply be coincidence, but I hey, can't argue with results. The funny thing is I have been dousing my morning coffee with cinnamon for at least ten years now, and maybe longer.

I played on the PC until 620am when I poured Mindy some coffee then took it to her bedside. She asked that I give the furnace a nudge upward. Downstairs again, I played until 630am when it was time for meditation and a stretch. My plan was to run before bus time and be home before Mindy left for school., just like the old days. I was also planning to work from the main office.

Meditation and stretching went well. I was just preparing to change into my running clothes when Jacob blessed me with his presence. We exchanged few words, ne still a little disappointed in the way he conducted himself the night prior while working on his public speaking assignment that he waited until the last minute to construct. I've never heard him swear so much. I wished him well as he headed out the door just seconds before me. And even thought it was a chilly and damp 48 degrees, he opted to wear shorts and a t-shirt - no jacket. What a goof ball!

He was out earlier than all the others, but by the time I completed my warm-up lap the corner was invested with his middle school bus peeps. I ran the full 4.1 miles. It remained dark until just before the 3 mile mark. Lots of early leaf fall. I'm guessing the heavy weekend rains are to thank for that. We really haven't come close to a freeze yet and judging by the ten day forecast, we're not gonna get one anytime soon, either. The lowest low forecasted is 45 degrees.

Given that I was out the door near 650am, I knew I'd be cutting it close relative to seeing Mindy off to school. But she was still at home when I arrived, her car warming in the drive. Before heading inside, I got in the Pilot and exercised both front windows in an effort to remove the clouded moisture for safeties sake.

Mindy was just about to head out when I walked inside. The leash was waiting by the door so I asked if anyone had walked the pug. No. I called to the pug, who came running pretty quickly. I leashed her up then headed out on our morning walk. Mindy backed out as we walked off. The pug and were out no more than 5 minutes. All I had to do was say the word, "eggs" and she turned for home in a hurry.

Woofed down my breakfast then prepped a lunch. Bella and I were off to the bus stop at 755am. By then there was some partial clearing but still only about 50 degrees. Chilly! Bus close to 805am.

Somehow deleted what I'd already written. Not caring to go back and rewrite, I've chosen to simply summarize.
