ZIPA

I was up and out of bed near 6am. The sky was clear and the morning air cool. I knew this because we slept with the window opened. In fact, it was chillier in the house than it was outside. Felt good though. Downstairs, I promptly engaged in calisthenics whipping out sit-ups, windmills then 40 curls. Good to be alive and healthy!

Spent the next 40 minutes at my PC with coffee enjoying headlines, email, and the Daily OM. Must've been near 7am when I changed course and moved on to meditation, stretching and then ultimately my run. I planned on working from the office and being there late into the afternoon since my boss scheduled a 4pm meeting to review my mid-year performance. To that end. I wanted to be at the office as close to 9am as possible.

Off on my run near 720am. I wore the same bright yellow wicking shirt that I've worn the past two chilly mornings and was quite comfortable, though still prefer going shirtless. Meh! Good run and back at home by 8am.Not wanting to waste time, I moved immediately to breakfast and lunch prep. Record time. Had my lunch packed, breakfast (fried eggs, grits, toast) prepared and consumed by 815am. I am efficient - good looking too! :)

Off to the shower with Mindy's first cup of coffee in hand. Predictably, she asked if I had time to snuggle - something she's asked the past couple mornings when I did not. I didn't really have a lot of time on this occasion either but didn't want to leave her hanging. I had 15 minutes I could spare. I leaped back into bed and into action. :)

Two minutes later I was back on my feet and in the shower. OK, just kidding. It was more like 20 minutes later. Dressed and ready to go by 910am. It was going to be a banner day weatherwise so I planned to drive the BM'er. Mindy agreed to move the Accord to the curb so I could back out and depart. Vrrrrrroom! Arrived at the office near 930am. The lot was as full as I've seen it in the last 15 years. Moving more and more folks to our facility with each passing week.

Easy day. Spent most of the morning taking yet another online training class. I've now completed 10 of 14. Once the last four are completed I'll need to study/cram then prep for the exam. Yuck! My boss wasn't in. Apparently working remote or visiting an customer. I checked our calendared meeting. He now had it set for me to call him at 4pm. Wanting to manage my time efficiently, I decided to head for home, that way I could mow the lawn at lunch.

More to come ...
