Wii Ski? Hey, No Lift Ticket Required
Up near 6am. Snowing. Temps dropping. 18 degrees by run time.
Exercise, playtime, coffee till 650am. Headed out on run near 7am.
Ran 4 miles
Mindy gone by the time I arrived home.
Eggs waiting. Walked pug.
Bella on the bus at 8am.
Worked at home until 11am.
Headed across town for afternoon meeting.
Mindy phoned near 4pm to tell me that she was home in time to meet the Orkin man for our January appointment (probably a waste of money, but it's part of the program).
Worked across town until 445pm.
Long, cold walk to my car parked at the far end of the lot. Only 10 degrees with brutally cold wind.
Called Mindy on the drive home. Discussed the evenings logistics - delivering the kids to gymnastics & basketball practice - Mindy agreed to deliver both. I agreed to pick-up both. Jacob wouldn't be done until 930pm.
Between dinner and picking up the kids at their sporting events, I volleyed back and forth with the Tahoe gang regarding the pros and cons of sticking to our plan or exploring a venue change. The consensus still seemed to be sticking with the Tahoe plan at least for another week, but I tossed Park City, Utah out there as a viable alternative. They've got plenty of snow along with some of the country's best ski terrain - 10K acres spread across three parks.
