Derecho!

Up at 6am after restful sleep. Cloudy 72 degrees
Exercise: sit-ups, push-ups, windmills
Coffee & computer time - 25 minutes
meditation and stretch - 15 minutes
Dressed for run: shorts and fresh short sleeved shirt. Hit the road 705am. Ran 4.1 miles.
Back home at 745am. Fried three eggs. Eiknarf still in bed with Mindy. Set her egg aside. Packed lunch: nuts, cheese, fruit, carrots.
Off to the shower by 815am. Took Mindy coffee.
Mindy asked if I had time for coffee. Yes. She headed downstairs with me.
Mindy planned to deep clean Bella's room and then have lunch with her mom, and possibly at the casino.
Opted to join 930am conference from home before heading to customer site in New Albany.
Trouble logging into network - token issues. Majorly frustrating. Contacted HD. Resolved after 30 minutes of toil.
Call canceled. Ugh!
Left for New Albany at 920am. Cross town traffic not bad at all. Arrived near 945am.
11am monthly service review meeting canceled. Frustrated. All the work I did the week before to make sure presentation was completed before leaving on 4-day weekend was essentially for not. Could've stayed in SC for an extra day or two.
Didn't take a lunch break. Extremely busy. Juggling too many issues at once.
Left the office at 525pm frustrated and angry.
Called Mindy who shared that she spent most of the day deep cleaning Bella's room. Found all kinds of surprises.
She suggested we do dinner out. Together we decided on Barley's.
Arrived home near 6pm. Mindy was eager to show her progress in Bella's room.
Package arrived from Amazon. ???? Monkey Butt powder. Mindy guessed it was sent by David.
Left for Barleys near 630p.
Lot sparsely attended. Bar almost barren. Odd, especially for a Wednesday.
local media sensationalizing enormous midwestern storm expected to strike overnight - a derecho!
Janet tending bar. Ordered a cask conditioned Hopiate. Mindy had a White Rajah in a bottle.
Janet's mom stopped in. Sat next to us. Talked for a while.
Ordered dinner. Shared the special, a brisket burrito. Good!
2nd beer a Hoptopus.
Left for home near 8pm.
Lovely summery evening. Poured two Bodhi's from a growler we bought from CBC more than a week prior. Still fresh!
We sat on the deck listening to my iTunes collection via Bose sound dock.
Headed in near 930pm. Checked work email. Felt the need to follow-up on a problem I was working on earlier.
In bed before 10pm.
Couldn't sleep. Got up and got involved with work for a little more than an hour. Got that problem moving in the right direction.
Back to bed by 11pm.
