Irrigation system kicked on at 430am Predicted to be in the upper 80’s and sunny Up just after 530am normal stuff: Frankie, exercise, coffee, meditation, stretch Run 4 miles Took golf clubs to work thinking I might hit the range at lunch Work was difficult Opted for a trip to the Anderson’s in lieu of the golf range New garden center being constructed – odd time to do it Bought a new umbrella – sorely needed Bought two 22oz bottles of beer – Hoppin’ Frog Hoppin' to Heaven Pale Ale – Brew Kettle IPA Bought an 8” plastic flower pot saucer Gone 1.25 hrs Enjoyed packed veggies drenched in Someone's Hidden Valley ranch dressing - good! Tuna Mindy emailed asking if I cared to join she and the kids for Red Lobster No – work busy and I don’t care for Red Lobster’s fried seafood Encouraged them to go still I left work at 545pm Home just after 6pm – took care of typical chores – made coffee, dirty lunch containers in dishwasher Took Frankie out – pee’d/pooped Lounged on deck reading from chaise – napped Woke to strong wind dark clouds invading Grabbed pug and headed in. Started storming within two minutes - badly Direct lightning and house shaking from thunder Frankie pee’s on sofa pillow - I wasn’t pleased Mindy and kids home at the storm's back half – tornado warning Bell afraid Brings me Target popcorn – yummy – as good as movie theatre style Frankie and I eat it all Bella finally decides to join us. Asks her mom to pop more popcorn Mindy obliges her request Bella eats just a little. I’m watching Reds game – first of the year. They’re getting beat 4-1 Mindy heads to bed. I disable the irrigation system after all the rain then put the pug to bed Head to bed.
