Kerplunk - Jane's plan debunked!
Overslept by 15 minutes waking to Mindy's alarm. Scared, confused me.
caught up during exercise, coffee and computer time.
Woke Mindy at 610am. Again, Mindy didn't sleep that well.
meditation and stretching
Forecast talked of forties, but now said only a high reaching mid 30's. Cold, only 22 degrees at run time. Ran just three miles.
Fried my own eggs to save Mindy time, who also overslept.
After Mindy left I asked Bella to make her mother a b-day card when at Deena's after school. She willingly agreed.
I still needed to find Mindy a gift but had no idea what to get her. She now officially has everything.
Showered, at the bus stop by 755am. Thanked Chrissy for late start day.
Work entailed interviewing all day long - every two hours.
Talked with Mindy around 4pm. She was relieved after finally having a meeting with the district's personnel director.
Didn't take lunch. Left work at 515pm. Day went fast but depleted all my energy reserves.
Stopped at Kroger on my way home. Bought Mindy a dozen white roses and a card and Dove chocolates to be a b-day gift from the kids.
No formal dinner - rare. Kids ate leftovers. I planned to eat the rest of my Chipotle for dinner.
After dinner, the kids, Mindy & I played Kerplunk - the stick and marble game - in the familyroom. We played three rounds. I won each time, having only one single marble tumble on my account through all three games.
Edited photos for about an hour. Kids headed to bed earlier than they have all week. 820pm. Mindy wasn't far behind. I stayed up reading my book, Virus of the Mind.
