Hair Choppin & CBC

Up around 555am.

It was a push-up day. Completed exercises then enjoyed coffee and internet.

Cold – 19 degrees.

Meditation and stretch before run.

Heard the trash truck out front picking up garbage.

Dressed warmly for my run. Didn’t head out until after 7am. In fact, walked the pug first. She was up early since she slept with Jacob.

Ran just 3 miles.

Mindy gone by the time I was back home from my run.

No Bella. She overnighted with Gloria.

Fried a couple eggs.

Showered and ready for work by 830am. Blue jeans/ black cashmere sweater day.

Called Liberty Mutual insurance agent. We received two auto policy renewal statements – identical coverage but a price difference of $1000. Agent assured me our renewal was the lower of the two. shared that she left me a VM sharing that she rewrote our policy and saved us a $1000. Sweet! That made my morning a tad brighter.

Warmed the Accord. Left for the office at 850am.

Spent most of my day working on a monthly report and quarterly presentation

Visited Saturday’s at lunch time for a haircut.

Enjoyed tuna and cheese for lunch.

Left for home at 450pm. Called Mindy. Shared that Bella was feeling better. Jimaken on his way to get kids. Planned to ask Jimaken about getting Bella Saturday morning and taking her skiing with us.
Arrived home just after 5pm. Jimaken was there to get the kids around 520pm. Jim agreed to let Bella go skiing with us. We’d pick her up on our way.

Mindy and I agreed to do dinner at CBC. She what time. I suggested 630pm. I wanted to unwind and nap. Id a little reading to trigger a nap. Worked like a charm. I slept for no more than 10 minutes. While short, it still felt heavenly. Mindy had just finished a shower when I headed up to freshen up.

We left for CBC at 635pm. Arrived at CBC around 650pm to a packed house. We stood at the bar for a good 20-30 minutes before a couple stools cleared. No Bodhi on tap. Bummer! They did, however, have Nightstick, a new black IPA on tap. I had one of those. I’m pretty sure that Mindy had one too.

Mindy texted numerous folks letting them know our whereabouts. Her friend and former e principal, Jan and her husband Jeff joined us around 730pm. And brother Tommy showed up around 8pm. I had a 2nd Nightstick but that’s it. I agreed to be the DD. Mindy ordered a steak. I ordered wings well done and extra saucy.

Bella was texting both Mindy & I sharing that she was bored. Mindy stopped responding. I went back and forth with her for a while. She can be relentless.

Tommy gave me a check to cover his Utah airfare. We hung out until 930pm or so. Not too late. By then I was doing a lot of yawning.

Mindy headed to bed within 15 minutes of arriving home. I stayed up for another half hour watching History channel, though can’t recall what program I watched. The pug & I headed up to bed around 1030pm. With both kids gone, she’d be sleeping with us.
