Cold Outside

Despite an ongoing battle with a dry, scratchy throat, I still managed to pull myself from bed just after 530am.

Exercise, Coffee, PC time - Meditation & Stretch

Really cold – 8 degrees!

Ran 4.1 miles. Was plenty warm enough above the waist, but probably should’ve worn running tights or ski long johns. As it was, I wore only loose running pants, and my legs never did warm-up which gave way to cold, achy knees. I survived.

Shared how cold I was with Mindy, who immediately responded that she’s never heard me complain about being cold.

Walked the pug.

Enjoyed eggs, strawberries & OJ.

Mindy took Bella to the bus stop while I showered.

Warmed the Accord for extended time. Arrived at the office near 9am.

Spent most of the day on monthly reports.

At home, wheeled the trashcan to the curb for Friday AM pick-up.

Mindy suggested we take the kids and got out for dinner. We talked about trying one of the many new gastropubs in the CMH area but once I was home from work we simply opted for Barley’s.

I had just one beer, a 20oz. Double Dog IPA. Yum! It hasn’t been on tap for a really long time. I think Mindy had a Fortune Teller.

Dinner: Bella: cheeseburger, Jacob: chicken tenders, Mindy: seafood pasta, Me: a Reuben.

There for about 90 minutes tops.

Home: watched the Fiesta Bowl – Oregon/Kansas St. Oregon ahead 22-10 at halftime, or when we went to bed.
