Steak Out - Honda Home

It was 5:40am before I even knew what hit me. It was time to head back to work. I felt rested and really needed to get back into my routine. I packed a lunch for Mindy and I after exercising and walking Ykraps. We squeezed in breakfast, too. Despite a forecast that called for weather less becoming than what we’d become accustom to, it ended up being yet another gorgeous day. It was a bit challenging getting caught up with everything at work but I gave it my best. Having another weekend right around the corner helped. It was warm enough to run in shorts. The temperature hovered in the mid 70’s all afternoon. Mindy picked up steaks on her way home from work. She dropped Glenn off at my place of work at 5pm. He was riding with me to pick-up Lindsey’s Honda. It was hard whipping out another $1150 for repairs but what’s a guy to do. Glenn drove the Honda to the closest gas station where I filled the tank since it was on empty. We arrived home by 5:45pm. Mindy had made arrangements with my dad to join us for dinner, too. He was slated to arrive around 6pm. He was on time. We grilled some porterhouse and ribeye. They ended up a bit over done but who’s counting? They were still mighty tasty. Glenn mentioned hearing back from Teresa, the girl he met at the funeral home. They arranged a date for Friday evening. We encouraged him to join us at Barley’s. Dad hung out until about 8pm. After Dad left & the kids were in bed, Mindy called it another early night. Glenn & I stayed up and watched Borat, again. I missed quite a lot of it on Tuesday. Unfortunately, I had a hard time staying awake yet again. I crashed around 10pm.
