Tuesday was the first day of spring and the weather responded accordingly. Sunny skies and warming temps – right on queue. I was out of bed late by design but not enough to rock my routine.
I did what I usually do each morning, nothing out of the ordinary. Mindy & the kids departed at 7:20am like always and I hit the shower. I left for work around 7:45am. My Trooper was running much better today. The Engine light went out on its own.
Work was fine. I left for my run a little later than usual. It was 1pm by the time I hit the gym. It was about 50 degrees when I left for my run. And while spring didn’t officially arrive until 7pm, I celebrated with the sun Tuesday afternoon. I took notice of its position well overhead and the ever increasing warmth from its more direct rays.
I anticipated a call from my auto mechanic regarding Lindsey’s Honda but never did hear from him. He did, however say that it might take until Wednesday. And from my perspective, no call meant no new unforeseen troubles. I decided not to chase him down.
I left for home late. I was at work until about 5:30pm. Mindy made hot wings for dinner. This seemed like an unusual evening in that we had no extra curricular duties planned. Instead, for the first time in a long while, we had a normal family dinner night.
After dinner I updated my blog and spent a good hour or two messing with the new customization tools available for Blogger. I also took notice of a couple recent comments from a reader. I typically don’t pay attention to comments since they’re more often than not spam. After fooling with my blog we watched pieces and parts of American Idol. As usual, it was entertaining. Went to bed at 10pm.
