Tuesday, July 7 - About Those Teeth

Dental appointment - 6 month check-up. For whatever the reason, seems my biannual dental appointments more often than not proceed a vacation, and this summer was no exception. New hygienist. I guess Heather quit and moved north to Michigan. New girl couldn't be but 22 years of age. Tiny, fragile thing. Seemed to do a decent job.

Wednesday, July 8 - Good Beer & Fish

Wednesday date night at Wolf's Ridge. Enjoyed a couple beers in the tap room and then dinner at the restaurant bar. Very, very good.

Thursday, July 9 - Last Work Day ahead of 17 straight days off

Vacation couldn’t come soon enough. Thursday, July 9^th was my last work day through July 27^th. And as it turned out, I participated in an all-day training class 9-530pm. No surprise, it rained on and off for most of the day. Nothing but rain this summer. Despite a drenched lawn, after finishing up with work, I headed out to cut the lawn one last time before leaving town for 10 days. My goal was to prevent coming home to a wheat field lawn after a 10 day vacation.

While I took care of the lawn, Mindy and the kids took Eiknarf to mawmaws. I believe we headed to Roosters for dinner when they got home.
