Up near 630am
Another cloudy day but with only a slight chance of rain.
Worked, played, enjoyed coffee until 740am.
Mindy and the kids up and gone by 715am
Meditation, a stretch and run completed by 9am
Breakfast, packed lunch and shower over the next hour.
Out the door for Easton near 10am
Monthly presentation day, though the meeting got moved from 11am to 3pm.
Stayed busy from the moment I arrived until I departed near 445pm. No lunch, at least not a formal break.
Talk with Mindy, Ashley and Tommy on my drive home.
Mindy and I made loose plans to scope out new brewpub – Land Grant in the bottoms
Tommy confirmed his 2 night Holiday Valley plans with Glenn and Wally.
Ashley discussed having Olivia Thursday overnight and then Friday plans (Friday is Olivia’s 8th b-day)
Arrived home near 520pm. Bella already gone with Jimaken (Jacob in D.C. till late Thursday).
Spent maybe 20-25 minutes at home before taking off for Land Grant Brewing Co.
In that time talked with Ashley again about our Thursday plans.
Arrived at Land Grant just after 6pm. Closed to the public – private event. Hmmm? Learned the grand opening for the public is Saturday, October 18th. I mistakenly thought it was already opened.
We went with plan B – Milestone 229, just across the river.
Chilly evening so the patio was pretty much shut down. Seated at a tall 2-person table near the kitchen.
I believe Dominique was our server’s name. Opted for a Great Lakes Oktoberfest. Mind chose a White Rajah.
Ordered appetizer’s too – four snacks and their humus and pita. Both really good.
I had a 2nd beer, a White Rajah this time around. Mindy did just the one beer.
Wanted to be home before Jimaken dropped Bella since she was alone.
Ordered a slice of their yummy double-chocolate cake for take-home.
Arrived home just before 8pm. Bella and Jimaken were waiting out front in his car.
We changed into PJs then shared a little bit of the chocolate cake
After a little relaxation, it was off to bed near 930pm.
