I was up a little earlier than the past two mornings and was quickly downstairs engaged in exercise. I purposefully didn't have the coffee auto programmed to start. Instead, I wanted to be there as it brewed to prevent a mess. Sure enough, same as the day before. I had to stop it three times to allow the coffee to settle into the carafe. Here's hoping the new pass-thru lid arrives fast.
I whipped out sit-ups, windmills, and curls, checking the coffee between each exercise. We have a spare coffee maker in our camping gear. I thought I might get it out and use it for a couple days until the new part arrives. I ran Mindy her coffee around 620am. We both laughed at my coffee maker babysitting antics. Back downstairs around 625m, I finally had an opportunity to enjoy a little coffee and internet. I played around until Jacob headed out to snag his school bus then headed to family room for a stretch. Mindy was soon downstairs in a new routine, showering at night before bed. She does that because her schools lack of A/C makes her feel sticky/dirty after a full day, probably not much different than I feel after working in the yard. I skipped meditation but did manage to do a little believe it or not, while running.
Speaking of my run, I ran the full 4.1 miles in warm, sticky conditions, much like the day before. I actually like it. As expected, Mindy was gone by the time I made it home, which was near 745am. I quickly leashed up the pug, took her on a walk, then cooked breakfast for the pug and I. Didn't have a whole lot of time between breakfast and bus time, but that's just fine. We headed out the door at 809am.
... lost scrolls
I finished this blog entry but lost it after an overnight reboot.
