Chain Saw in a Blizzard
Snow storm
Run - shovel drive
Chain saw on pond - sawed up above water-level logs/branches from fallen ash tree
Jacob, Evan, Landon, Rocky help carry sawn timbers to compost pile.
Met Vladimir, who lives in the neighboring subdivision cross country skiing on frozen, snow covered pond.
Mindy headed out to get a few things. Asked that she pick-up a growler of Bodhi from Daily Growler.
Lindsey came over to get the boys near 430pm.
We readied and left for Darwin's 50th b-day party just after 6pm.
Pretty sure we were the only non-family members, well, us and one of Darwin's business venture partners.
As usual, they cooked up quite the spread - pulled pork, some incredible homemade macaroni, and some cheese sausage dip. Yum! Everything was super delicious.
Uncle Nick (Tammy's husband) brought his iPad so all could play a app/game called Heads Up! I'd liken it to a 21st century version of Password. Fun! Played for a couple hours.
Between Darwin and I, we polished off that growler of Bodhi, but over the course of 4+ hours. I think I had three total. Darwin was feeling no pain. In addition to the Bodhi, he was doing some shots of Woodford Reserve, too.
We planned on skiing the next day, and Darwin said he and Jordan might be heading up too. Would take Lane if he finished his homework. I, in turn, implored Lane to get on it and finish it so we could all go and have fun. He apparently ignored all pleas to get it done.
Later, Jacob & Lane bumper ski against our better judgment.
Met Dana Dietz 2 month old son (Tim's 1st GC). Can't remember his name. Shoot!
We left for home around 1030pm. We laughed our arses off when we Jacob pointed out that Darwin drove through the neighbors yard when guests refused to move their car from the foot of his driveway earlier when he took the boys bumper skiing.
