No Golf
I was up just after 530am. I was excited to be up on time.
While detectable for a while now, it was very obvious that the summer days are shrinking. It was barely daybreak at rise time.
Exercise: sit-ups and push-ups
Took Frankie out between coffee and meditation. For once, she was prompt to address her business.
I completed a good stretch then ran four miles. It cool again – low 60s.
Packed lunch – cooked breakfast.
Off to the shower by 750am. Even though Bob I. emailed that he wouldn’t be able to golf, I packed shorts just in case Tom C. was free and could golf after work.
Mindy was expecting Teri and kids to visit but planned to cancel for Jacob being sick. Didn’t want to risk spreading the virus.
Because my golf clubs were already aboard the Trooper, I drove it to work. I didn’t feel like making the transition.
Work was busy. Again, no lunch. I left Tom C. a VM asking about getting away for late afternoon golf. No response. I assumed him working OT.
Talked with Mindy. Jacob still ill and still with a fever, but did manage to eat something.
Left work just before 6pm. Didn’t really have much of an appetite and thus no formal dinner. I ate a few chunks of cheese then took to reading. I dosed a time or two also.
Before bed, Bella asked if she could come to work with me Friday. Yes. Why not? She was very excited. I heard her tell Jacob her plans after I had already bolted for bed.
